- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The gym itself is good but extremely overpriced as the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi are frequently out of service. The main weights area is heavily male focused. The 2 main studios located upstairs were planned to be locked 2 hours before closing time because of some members not treating them properly, but no notice or warning was given to other members such as myself. I, alongside many other members like to use the studio for weights and other exercise. Upon complaining about this issue (as I can only make it to the gym at a certain time due to work) and other experience, they weren't able to show any understanding or resolve my issue. It is highly disappointing as I have been a member with them (previously Virgin Active) for over 2 years now. I am now planning to cancel my membership. It's a shame Virgin Active sold their well managed gym to Nuffield Health. I agree with the other reviewers in regards to cleanliness of the changing rooms too, as staff will mop and vacuum while you are trying to change/exercise, but I have no big issues with this.by --May 14, 2017
